WELCOME

HI, I'M ELIZABETH CLAIRE

and I am an artist based in the Highlands of Scotland. Although I do bits and pieces of everything in a variety of different mediums I focus on painting Scottish landscapes in gouache. I find that working with this type of paint helps me get the vibrancy and colour that I love to put in my pieces. 

I have been creative from a very young age and studied art and design throughout my entire time in secondary school. I toyed with the idea of going to art school but chose to go down a less creative route for my university education. After a year of studying I arrived at the difficult conclusion that university wasn't for me and decided to leave and start perusing my dream and passion of art. 

So, in January of 2021, I started Elizabeth Claire Paints and haven't looked back. I have worked so hard on my small business and will continue to do so, I can't believe how far along its come in such a small space of time!
